I am building an 83 acre eco-farm/art-farm in Mexico now...(Near Patzcuaro, Michoacan.)
It is truly amazing to hear all the birds in the day and night... to be surrounded by trees all the time.
Let me know if you might want to visit, or would like to be kept up to date... What do you have to offer to co-create this space? People into art, plants, permaculture and creative living are especially welcome... No creeps or flakes. :)

Thu, September 22, 2005 - 3:23 AMHeheh great thread, I'm just packing up the last of my stuff from the city to move to 100 acres in the forest and start an intentional community. Big sigh AHHHHHHHHH!

Here are some photo's we took. It was a real adventure finding the place, it hasn't been lived in for like 10 years. We were really slashing a path through the regrowth like pioneers. And so pleased by what we found, an old timber pole home which will be great as a communal space in the future and a good home for us for now. Plenty of established fruit trees scattered around plus the neighbouring property has a mango and macadamia orchard - yum. I can't wait to get back, waking up to the sound of the morning bird chorus is great!
All the best,
GiL -
